New Dorchester Town joint-chairman Neal Butterworth has described next season’s playing budget as a “pretty unpleasant reality” but backed boss Phil Simkin to meet the challenges a reduction in finances present. The Magpies’ manager will have £2,500 a week to play with compared to £3,500 last term – a cut of £40,000 over the whole of the campaign.
Butterworth confirmed to Echosport that the £100,000 budget for the 2013/14 season covers wages, PAYE and National Insurance contributions. ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
